SMS Program Overview
This page covers text messaging only. The agreement governing the CDO platform itself — who owns your data, what the AI may and may not do, warranties, liability and termination — is the Terms of Service. What the platform collects and who receives it is in the Privacy Policy.
Program Name: CDO Workforce Notifications
Operated by: Innovative Platform Solutions, Inc. (Nevada Business Identification # NV20253289204), the owner and operator of the CDO platform.
Sent on behalf of: your employer — the company that licenses CDO and enrolls its workforce.
The CDO platform provides SMS-based workforce notifications to employees and authorized users. These messages include:
- Work schedule updates and changes
- Time clock reminders (clock-in, clock-out, break alerts)
- Job assignments and crew dispatch notifications
- Operational alerts and safety communications
- Platform access codes and authentication messages
By providing your phone number and opting into the CDO platform, you consent to receive these SMS messages as part of your employment with the company that enrolled you.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your work schedule, job assignments, and operational needs. You may receive multiple messages per day during active work periods, and fewer messages during off-schedule periods.
Message frequency varies. The number of messages you receive depends on your work schedule, crew assignments, and real-time operational requirements.
Costs & Charges
Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier messaging rates apply to all SMS messages sent and received through the CDO platform. Check with your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan.
Innovative Platform Solutions, Inc. is not responsible for any charges incurred from your wireless carrier related to SMS messages sent through the CDO platform.
Opting Out
You may opt out of SMS communications at any time, and it costs you nothing to do so.
Three ways to opt out, all of them work:
- Reply STOP to any message from the CDO platform. In Spanish, PARE, BAJA or CANCELAR work the same way.
- Email team@cdohr.ai from any address and tell us the number.
- Tell your supervisor or office manager, who can record it for you.
However the request reaches us, we stop sending to that number and send one confirmation message.
Opting out does not affect your employment, your pay, your schedule, or your access to the CDO web portal and field app — where you will still see the same schedule updates and alerts. It stops the text messages and nothing else.
To start receiving them again, reply START (or ALTA) at any time, or ask your supervisor.
Getting Help
If you need assistance with SMS communications or have questions about the CDO platform:
For SMS help: Reply HELP (or AYUDA) to any message
Email support: team@cdohr.ai
Our support team is available to assist with any questions about message delivery, opt-out requests, or platform access.
Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Information collected through the CDO platform, including your phone number, is used solely for workforce management and operational communications.
We do not sell or share your phone number or personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. For complete details on how we collect, use, and protect your information, please review our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable Use
By using the CDO platform, you agree to:
- Use the platform only for authorized employment-related purposes
- Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials and PIN
- Provide accurate information for time and attendance records
- Not attempt to manipulate, bypass, or interfere with platform security
- Report any unauthorized access or security concerns to your supervisor
Violation of these terms may result in suspension of platform access and disciplinary action per company policy.
Limitation of Liability
These limits are set out in one place, not two. Warranties, disclaimers and the limitation of liability for the platform as a whole live in the Terms of Service and apply here without being restated. Two documents carrying their own version of the same clause is how they end up disagreeing.
One point specific to messaging: SMS is delivered through mobile carriers we do not control. We do not guarantee that a message will be delivered, or delivered on time, and text messaging must not be relied on as the only way to reach someone when something is urgent.
Governing Law
These SMS Program Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, on the same terms as the Terms of Service.
This does not affect any right you have under the law of the state where you work, including California employment, wage-and-hour and privacy law, and it does not waive any protection that cannot be waived by agreement. It also does not affect your rights under federal telephone-consumer law regarding text messages.
